West Los Angeles

West Los Angeles, often referred to as the Westside, is considered by some as anything west of the I-110 freeway and by others as anything west of La Cienega Blvd. and still others have a different definition of the boundaries. Ironically enough, West Los Angeles is actually a neighborhood-level district of the City of Los Angeles. It is bordered on the North by Wilshire Blvd, to the South by Santa Monica Freeway (I-10), to the East by the San Diego Freeway (I-405) and on the West by Centinela Ave. separating it from Santa Monica city limits.

The housing is comprised of a healthy mixture of single-family residences, condos, town homes, residential investment property and apartment buildings. It is quite a diverse community and offers a variety of recreational entertainment, educational programs, numerous parks, fine dining, and specialty shopping. West Los Angeles greatest asset is its location. A short drive or, for the adventurous, bike ride to the beach and close enough to feel the ocean breezes. Its easy access to the freeways allow for short commutes to all the Los Angeles Metropolis has to offer.

The residents of West Los Angeles enjoy both a community feeling and continued support from its home owners association. The schools are part of the Los Angeles Unified School District and provide quality education for K-12. There are also, numerous private schools to support everyones educational needs. This is a great place to call home!
